As it known to all, if we want to make an item branded with a logo (actually it is the very
method that we obtain the customized products), there are different branding ways for
us to choose from. Possibly you have some trouble in making the choice? In this page,
we would like to help you to tell the difference between the different branding solutions.
Solution 1: Silk-screen Printing
It is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to
support an ink-blocking stencil to receive a desired
image. Basically, it is the process of using a mesh-
based stencil to apply ink onto a substrate, whether
it is T-shirts, posters, stickers, vinyl, wood, or other
materials. It is the most universally used printing
way for many industries, especially for the items we are producing. Usually it is a cheaper
solution for a logo consisted of 1-3 colors, not containing gradient colors.
Solution 2: Full-color Printing
It is also called digital printing, defined comparing to
silk printing. Full-color printing supports a reproduc-
tion of a colorful image or logo contains 4 or more
colors or gradient colors. In other words, if a logo or
image contains 4 or more colors, or it contains gradient
color, full color printing is the best and necessary way
to present it perfectly.
Solution 3: Laser Engraving
Laser engraving is the practice of using a laser machine
to engrave or mark an object. For the industry, it is the
mostly applied on items that made of wooden / bamboo
or metal. It is very obvious the laser engraved contents
(a LOGO or an image or some words) will be kept onto
the item permanently. It is the core advantage of laser
engraving, comparing to screen printing or color printing.
Solution 4: Pad Printing
Pad printing is a printing process that can transfer a
2D Logo / words or image onto a 3D object.
It is applied in many industries especially gift industry.
Since there are many items with scraggly surfaces, in-
cluding cylindrical, spherical, compound angles, tex-
tures, concave, or convex surfaces. It is very difficult
to print onto the scraggly surfaces, so pad printing Is an important way to solve the problem.
